Aston at Papakea Resort will be starting its Exterior Renovation Project effective April 9. The project will include installing new lanai railings and repainting building exteriors and is expected to end December 21, 2012.
The project will focus on only four of the resort's eleven buildings. There will be no disruption to guests staying in buildings A through F. As Aston at Papakea Resort is spread across 13 spacious, oceanfront acres of koi ponds, tropical gardens, two swimming pool areas and two 12‐hole putting greens, the project should not impede guests from enjoying the resort.
The following measures will be taken to minimize the impact of this renovation project on our guests:
Work will be done Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am-5:00pm. Work on Saturdays is possible, but will be avoided unless necessary.
No guests will be placed in the building being worked on.
Contractors will be using the most advanced dust control methodology and noise control equipment.
For guests' comfort and safety, the portable scaffolding will be taken down each evening and stored.

Aston at Papakea Resort charges a daily amenity fee of 10.00 plus Hawaii State General Excise Tax. The fee will be collected directly at the property

A 13-acre beachfront oasis of relaxation, the Aston at Papakea Resort features tropical landscaping with Koi ponds and palm trees located throughout, and is approximately 32 miles from Kahului Airport. Local attractions include the Maui Ocean Center, approximately 19 miles away, and Lahaina, located four miles from the resort.This Aston property offers several recreational facilities, including two 12-hole putting greens, three tennis courts, shuffleboard, beach activities, and two swimming pools with whirlpools. A fitness center is also located onsite. Other amenities include free parking, kids' program, daily housekeeping, barbeques, dry cleaning services, wireless Internet access, parking, and an activity desk. Free yoga and swimmercize classes as well as weekly putting and tennis tournaments are available. Studio, one bedroom/one bath and two bedroom/two bath condos are available. The studio is 454 sq. ft., is equipped with one queen or one Murphy, and can accommodate two guests. The one bedroom is 620 sq. ft, is equipped with one king or one queen and sofabed, and can accommodate four guests. The two bedroom is 861 sq. ft., is equipped with one king or one queen, two twins and sofabed, and can accommodate six guests. Condominium units feature full kitchens, dishes and utensils, coffeemakers, refrigerators, telephones, lanais, irons and ironing boards, alarm clocks, laundry facilities, microwaves, ceiling fans, VCRs, blenders, cable TV, hairdryers, safes, kitchens, DVD players, CD players, and high-speed Internet access.
